About
Stephanie Hanson comes from a family of writers. She began her professional career as a writer in the early 2000s as a writer for The English Tea Blog and the author of The Tea Scoop. Tea fueled her journey through a degree in history and a master’s degree in Elementary Education. She worked as a classroom teacher from 2007-20014.
In 2015, she joined the team at History Unboxed, an educational publisher. Since then, she has written magazine articles and educational books for the company, inspired by a background as a living history interpreter and her experiences in the classroom.
Stephanie lives in rural Virginia with her spouse, four children, and a dog. When she isn’t writing, she’s designing merchandise for her Etsy shop, reading from her endless TBR pile, or taking a nap.
